Pollen from silver birch (Betula pendula, Betulaceae).
Birch pollen is a very common cause of tree-pollen hayfever - possibly second only to oaks.
Technical description of Betula pendula pollen, from PalDat (Halbritter, 2016): small isopolar monads, spheroidal or irregular, circular or irregular in polar view, triporate with annuli, and with a psilate, rugulate or microechinate exine.
