Overview
Pollen from Deodar Cedar (Cedrus deodara, Pinaceae).
Like pine pollen, cedar pollen has two air sacs which help it travel between trees.
Technical description of Cedrus pollen, from PalDat (Halbritter, 2016): large heteropolar monads, bisaccate and oblate, elliptic in polar view, with a leptoma and verrucate, fossulate and perforate exine.
