Overview
Pollen from Goosefoot (Chenopodium album, Amaranthaceae).
Chenopodium album is a popular food plant in northern India (where it is called bathua), and its pollen is a common cause of hayfever where it grows.
Technical description of Chenopodium pollen, from PalDat (Diethart, 2016): medium-sized, isopolar monads, spheroidal or irregular, circular or irregular in polar view, pantoporate with a microechinate or perforate exine.
