Pollen from English/European/pedunculate oak (Quercus robur, Fagaceae).
This pollen grain was probably well hydrated when it was scanned, unlike the dehydrated specimen here.
Technical description of Quercus robur pollen, from PalDat (Diethart & Bouchal, 2018): medium-sized isopolar monads, spheroidal or prolate, circular to lobate in polar view, tricolpate, with a scabrate exine.
This model is part of the 3D Pollen Project.
