Overview
Pollen from plantain/ribwort (Plantago lanceolata, Plantaginaceae).
Almost all species in the plantain family can give you hayfever, but this species is the most highly allergenic.
Technical description of Plantago lanceolata pollen, from PalDat (Halbritter & Ulrich, 2016): small apolar monads, spheroidal or irregular, circular or irregular in polar view, pantoporate, each pore being annulate and operculate, with the grain having a verrucate exine.
